We run beginner classes on Wednesdays from 7:15-8:15pm at the Arena Sports Centre, where we train. Classes often run over time and tend to end around 8:30 most weeks.

The coach for these classes is Ted Elliott.

Cost

The cost is:

• $20 per class; or
• $110 for 6 classes; or
• $170 for 10 classes.

This must be paid in cash to either Ted, or to Sara Scott, the club President.

Note that to attend these classes, you must be a member of both the fencing club and SUSF, both of which are paid at the front desk of the Arena Sports Centre.This is in addition to payment for the classes.

Content

The first weapon we start with in this course is epee , but if there is interest in learning foil , we can do some of that in the class. If you’re interested in sabre then you can talk to one of our sabre coaches for more information.

Dates

Our only limitation on class sizes is availability of equipment, but for most of the year we should be bale to get you going straight away.
